NAIFA 2026 Summer Edition — nomorefrog AI Film Awards

The inaugural nomorefrog AI Film Awards, a Korean-run international festival presented by nomorefrog founder Jake Choi. Films screened online through OvAI and winners were announced August 20 across six categories plus a Pink Frog grand prize.

The Pink Frog went to Milk Tea, a three-minute music video by Arthur Liew of Malaysia. Best AI Short Film went to Salty by Jordan Daniel Chesney, Best AI Animation to Butterfly Eyes by Sohee Jeon, and Best Visual Art Film to Nuo drama rite by Max Liu. The geography is telling: a Malaysian grand-prize winner, Korean and Chinese category winners, and a single American in a field Western AI festivals rarely reach.
