The MUTILATOR

In a post-apocalyptic wasteland, a young guide recruits a retired mercenary known as the Mutilator to save her hometown, and a simple mission draws them into a war with a ruthless tyrant and the Mutilator's own past. A fourteen-minute animated action film, directed by Eric Fogel and produced by Wonder Studios, with LTX as executive producer.

Fogel first imagined the world as a film student at NYU, inspired by the anarchic energy of Mad Max and his love of unconventional animation, and was developing its characters, comics and stories long before he created MTV's cult claymation hit Celebrity Deathmatch and worked at Nickelodeon, Disney and DreamWorks. Decades later the project that never got made came to the screen through AI: one more veteran of traditional animation using the new tools to finish a film the old pipeline never funded, backed this time by the maker of an open video model, LTX.
