Ideogram Vector
Ideogram
Ideogram's first vector model, from the company whose image models made their name on getting lettering right. It generates clean, editable SVGs with smooth gradients and sharp typography from a text prompt, optionally guided by reference images, or turns any existing image into a detailed vector, with no prompt needed. Shapes can be selected and adjusted in a vector editor and recolored to match a brand, and the artwork scales to any size without losing its edges. It launched in the Ideogram app and through the API, at 10 to 32 cents an SVG.
For filmmakers the point is the layer that sits on top of the picture. Video models still struggle to render legible text, and type baked into a generated frame can't be fixed, retimed or translated. Titles, logos, lower thirds and end cards made as vectors stay separate: a main title that holds up at 4K or on a theater screen, a studio mark that can be recolored per release, a graphic whose individual shapes can be animated in a motion-graphics tool or written straight into a video made as code with HyperFrames. Generated footage and generated graphics, kept apart so each can be finished properly.
