Dreamina Originals Launches

Dreamina, ByteDance's AI creative platform, launched Dreamina Originals, which it called the first professional film and series label dedicated to creators. Creators it backs get computing power, technology, AI tools and distribution, with Dreamina staying alongside them "across the entire content value chain, from production to distribution."

It made 2026's pattern explicit: the companies that sell AI video tools were becoming studios. Magnific had already launched its Originals with Backrooms Nemoris, and Fable was taking Gods Don't Give Gifts to theaters. With Dreamina, the platform behind series like Horace Dodd's THE COUNCIL, now offering compute and distribution, the line between tool vendor and production company kept getting thinner.
