Episode page →The five-minute teaser with which PJ Accetturo announced Nexus, his upcoming hybrid feature film, to be shot on a volume. Three people made it in two weeks with Dreamina's Octo agent and Seedance 2.0, and it passed 3.7 million views on YouTube, which he described a week later as going mega-viral. The story, set in a galaxy of animals in crisis, was written with Dan Weller; Karim Youssef and Stephen Quach worked on the images and edit.

Episode page →A three-minute trailer made before the Wet Markets teaser, for the XPRIZE film competition that Peter Diamandis created to put $2.5 million behind a film showing an optimistic, abundant future. PJ Accetturo made it after watching Project Hail Mary, and making it led to Nexus being funded.
He and writing partner Dan Weller spent three weeks on the three-minute script, more than he has spent on thirty-page scripts, and cracked the structure by transcribing Project Hail Mary trailers and working with Gemini to map their beats onto the story. After the theme shifted from a drought to animals in crisis, this trailer stopped being canon, but its characters and locations carry into the feature.

Directed by PJ Ace and Theo Dudley, written by PJ Ace and Dan Weller, animated by Theo Dudley and edited by Jaron Halmy, with help from Corry Wiens and Daniel Packer.

Made with early access to Dreamina's Seedance 2.5, whose thirty-second outputs, PJ Accetturo said, saved a ton of time and money. Written with Dan Weller; images and animation by Theo Wild, Damien Steck and Steven Quach; edited by Steven Quach and Tyler Messervey.

The first of the bi-weekly Nexus episodes PJ Accetturo is making with Dreamina while the feature is written, introducing its core characters. Directed by Beau Fipke, written by PJ Ace and Dan Weller, edited by Tyler Messervey.
His breakdown on X puts the cost at $29,575 and ten days of work, with the reminder that AI is not cheap: the Nexus feature will still cost millions next year, but should look like a $200 million film. He also shared the Claude skill his team uses to run the process. The X Post reached 9.5M views!
