An eight-minute full episode of Circadian Stories, the supernatural anthology Christopher Fryant presents as a lost classic: strange, surreal and unforgettable, most of its footage supposedly gone in a studio fire in 1972 and surviving only as rare clips, with the channel devoted to preserving them and recreating whole episodes. Life Lines opens the second season as the first complete recreation, produced by Fryant's Redacted Owl Studio, a boutique AI VFX house for film and television.
The conceit does real work: a period series that never existed lets the AI look like archive footage rather than pretend to be new, and the surviving clips and lost episodes fill out the Circadian Stories universe around it.
