Luma Ray3.2

Luma Labs

Luma's answer to "prompt and hope" is keyframes: up to 16 of them inside a single clip, so a director can pin down story beats, camera paths and pacing instead of describing them. Clips run up to 20 seconds at 1080p, long enough to build a scene instead of stitching fragments. Performance tracking carries an actor's posture, gestures and facial expression across for up to eight faces at once, Reframe changes aspect ratio or replaces a background after the take while keeping the lighting, and the HDR and 16-bit EXR output that Ray3 introduced carries straight into the grade.

It was also the first time Luma opened a Ray model's full controls through an API, pitched at studios that want to wire generation into their own pipelines rather than work in someone else's app.
