The Poison Taster

A 25-minute historical drama set in ancient Rome. A young servant is chosen to taste the emperor's food, so every meal could be his last, and inside a palace full of secrets keeping Caesar alive means learning how to survive himself. Absurd, the AI filmmaking platform, produced it on its own collaborative canvas with Seedance 2.5 and Nano Banana Pro, a month after its Greek-myth short The Ferryman. At close to half an hour of sustained period drama, it is one of the longer narrative films made on the Seedance 2.5 generation of models.
