Strings (2026)

Strings was among the first live action AI feature length films. Strings is also notable for the randomized ending.

The primary importance of the film is in its ensemble of machine performances and its star, Nellie Beaufort, a totally synthetic actress. The film is 100 % AI.

The two films that should not be overlooked are Window Seat (first fully AI feature film in history; also made with Runway V2's video model), and Strings. Jackson also made A Very Long Carriage Ride and My Boyfriend is a Superhero!? both are also important animation milestones; Superhero got distribution on Fawesome and was the first film made with Open AI's Sora. Carriage Ride is the first film with two simultaneous releases (the same film released in stop motion and classic animation). All are 100 % AI films made entirely by one person, no hybrid workflows.
