Runway GWM Worlds 2
RunwayRunway showed GWM Worlds 2, a playable world model that streams continuous 720p video at 24 frames per second with 48 kHz sound and no preset length. Its new input, WorldPrompt, has two layers: a persistent prompt and first frame that set the world, its subjects and its rules, and a timestamped stream of events for what happens, down to the camera's movement frame by frame. Runway pitched three modes: rendered ahead of time for film and advertising, turn by turn for visual novels, and live, with keys and the mouse bound to actions. It went out as a research preview by request, with fast camera turns and long-term memory still weak.
Three days after Solaris and fal.live, it put the idea in filmmaking terms: a scene written as a timed stream of events and played rather than generated shot by shot.
