Genghis Birth of An Empire
Genghis: Birth of an Empire is the flagship series from Authors First, a human-led, AI-enabled book-to-screen studio and distribution platform. The six-episode series adapts bestselling author Conn Iggulden's Conqueror novels, which have sold more than 10 million copies worldwide.
It follows a boy cast out by his tribe after his father's murder, who fights to keep his family alive through a brutal winter and becomes the leader the world will know as Genghis Khan.
Conn worked hand in hand with the studio's artists, animators and screenwriters throughout production and had final cut. In his words, "my readers will get to experience my story exactly as I envisioned it."
The series premiered globally on November 5, 2026. Episode 1 premieres free on YouTube on November 10, Genghis Khan's birthday, and all six episodes arrive on the Authors First app and other streaming outlets on November 17, with wider distribution via Filmhub.
