Inspired by Paul Gauguin's first voyage to Tahiti in 1891: an artist travels alone into the island's interior, where a meeting with an ancient deity changes how he sees. Carlo De Togni directed from Elena Sparacino's script, telling the story in French through a sequence of AI-generated painterly tableaux. An Honoree at [Runway's second AI Film Festival](https://aifilmhistory.org/entry/aiff-2024), it went on to Ars Electronica.
