Posted to X on the Big Pitch Contest's final day, Sincitium goes viral immediately — a Contanimation concept trailer (Javier De La Chica and Guillermo Miranda) that becomes the runaway favorite a full week before Runway names it the Grand Prize winner on May 12. The post itself, not just the prize, is the moment: a small Spanish animation studio drops a concept trailer that competes with anything coming out of LA, and the comments pile up with creators saying this is what the new economics of an AI-native pitch actually look like. Sincitium becomes the first $50,000 Big Pitch champion and quietly sets the visual vocabulary every copycat contest entry will reference next.
