The inaugural nomorefrog AI Film Awards, a Korean-run international festival presented by nomorefrog founder Jake Choi. Films screened online through OvAI and winners were announced August 20 across six categories plus a Pink Frog grand prize.

The Pink Frog went to Milk Tea, a three-minute music video by Arthur Liew of Malaysia. Best AI Short Film went to [Salty](https://aifilmhistory.org/entry/salty-chesney/) by Jordan Daniel Chesney, Best AI Animation to Butterfly Eyes by Sohee Jeon, and Best Visual Art Film to Nuo drama rite by Max Liu. The geography is telling: a Malaysian grand-prize winner, Korean and Chinese category winners, and a single American in a field Western AI festivals rarely reach.
