Photorealism arrives. Hands get fixed, coherence sharpens, and the default look crosses from 'AI art' to 'photograph.' Within a week V5 produces the images that fool the internet and, just as quietly, becomes the start-frame factory for the first wave of image-to-video in Runway Gen-2 and Pika. The point releases that follow — v5.1's RAW mode, v5.2's Zoom Out and Style Tuner — begin the road toward reusable style codes.
