Artie gets a new ally and learns that training with X-Cal attracts very big problems. At fifteen minutes, Chapter 2 is the longest Junkyard King installment yet, and the first credited to ODD KID, the studio banner [Henry Daubrez](https://aifilmhistory.org/artist/henry-daubrez/) now releases the series under.

The progression across three chapters is AI filmmaking in 2026 in miniature. [Chapter 0](https://aifilmhistory.org/entry/junkyard-king/) took four weeks and $1,000 in Seedance credits. [Chapter 1](https://aifilmhistory.org/entry/junkyard-king-chapter-1-training-day/) grew from a tool experiment into a nine-minute episode. Chapter 2 is simply a new episode of a show, and a creator no longer asking whether serialized AI animation is possible, but how many stories the world can hold.
