The sword is real, but it runs on something Artie doesn't understand yet, so it's time to train. Three months after the [Chapter 0 pilot](https://aifilmhistory.org/entry/junkyard-king/), [Henry Daubrez](https://aifilmhistory.org/artist/henry-daubrez/) returns to his 80s-set, Arthurian-flavored animated series with a full nine-minute chapter: Artie starts learning what the katana from the junkyard can actually do.

The chapter began as an experiment with Invideo's Agent One and grew into a complete episode. Daubrez's own read is the interesting part: the tool shifted his attention away from prompt engineering and toward filmmaking: direction, camera, pacing, dialogue. Where Chapter 0 proved serialized AI animation could exist, Chapter 1 proves the world can keep growing.
