CRE[AI]TE was CapCut's first AI film festival, "a festival for the person behind the prompt," judged across film, series, creative and commercial categories plus a student award, with 30 works recognized in all. Many of the recognized works were generated with Seedance 2.0, ByteDance's video model, and cut inside CapCut, which made the festival a showcase for the editor and the model as one pipeline.

The Grand Prix went to CLOSET by Marcelo Pinto Coelho, a nearly wordless stop-motion-style short about a boy scared of the noises in his new wardrobe and a small monster on the other side of the wall who is scared of his; every scene came from one reusable style prompt that kept the resin skin, glass eyes and hand-built sets consistent. Category winners were They Came When We Left by Justinas Vosylius (film), grund thuft uto by asapgeng (series), Anything You Want by Blue Foxes (creative) and Wonder Toy Store by Victor Banya (commercial). [Salty](https://aifilmhistory.org/entry/salty-chesney) by Jordan Daniel Chesney was named Film Honoree, and Kate Polet's ChildFree won the Student Vision award. CapCut opened the winners' showcase on October 7.
