"The story of a detail that is missing, or that never existed. The image of a child we are looking for and trying to recreate. Thousands of lies to find the truth." Simon Rieth's short opens on familiar prenatal imagery and moves into a place where reality and fiction blur, a testimony to a devastating experience many parents go through. Produced by Les Films du Poisson as 6000 mensonges, it premiered in the Tiger Short Competition at Rotterdam in January 2024, then won a Merit award at [Runway's 2025 AI Film Festival](https://aifilmhistory.org/entry/aiff-2025).
